FPDSavills reports more farms on the market

FPDSAVILLS reports that more than 71,000 acres in 251 units were up for sale in the first three months of this year. This was up 13% on the previous four months of this year, and 68% higher than the same four months of 1997.

Fordyce Maxwell, the columnist of the The Scotsman, reports that present finances for almost every product indicate a “yawning” gap of about 45% between land prices and productive worth of the land.
