GM crops offer Vitamin E relief


THE creation of genetically modified crops which provide vitamin E in massive quantities will be a major boost for health around the globe, it has been claimed.

Writing in The Guardian Sanjida O Connell argues this will help provide a convenient source of the vitamin to the millions of people who would otherwise be deficient.

Deficiency of vitamin E can cause organs and tissue to deteriorate.
