Good barley quality at Wiltshire Grain

BARLEY has been coming into the Wiltshire Grain co-operative store in the last few days. Initial reports indicate quality has been extremely high.

“Some of the Pearl coming in is the best weve ever seen, with 96% retained on a 2.5mm sieve” commented SCATS grain development manager Rob Sanderson.

A minimum of 90% retentions are needed for the export market.
