Government extends milk inquiry deadline
THE Government has agreed to extend the Monopolies and Mergers Commission (MMC) inquiry into the supply of raw milk by one month.
The delay has been made to allow Milk Marque to check the evidence it gave the inquiry.
This is the second time the inquiry has been extended.
The MMC was due to report by 26 October, but the government allowed an extension to 26 January.
The government is now expected to get the report by 26 February.
