Hazlewood issues profits warning

HAZLEWOOD Foods has warned that a tough trading environment and heavy investment will hit profits this year and next.

The sandwich and convenience food manufacturer reported sales were “running a little below plan”, reports the Financial Times.

Analysts have downgraded pre-tax profit forecasts from 46 million to 40m, still ahead of last years 40m.
