Headland in Cheminova takeover

DANISH agrochemical company Cheminova is to buy Essex-based Headland Agrochemicals, Agrow reports.
The purchase will add micronutrients, a significant part of Headlands business, to Cheminovas product portfolio, best known for the herbicide Glyfos (glyphosate).
Cheminova, based in Lemvig, Denmark, has assets of 230 million and is one of the worlds largest producers of organophosphate insecticides.
Headland is expecting sales of nearly 9m this year.
