Heavy horse man seeks new farm

Too close for comfort. Planes using Luton Airport are proving too much of an intrusion to his peaceful way of farming for heavy horse enthusiast Ewan MacPherson of Law Hall Farm, Bendish, Herts (Tel 01438 871610) "We need to relocate to somewhere more suitable.

Ideally I would like to find, a stately home or open farm that would like the extra attraction of working horses and a resident ornamental blacksmith that I can provide,"

says Ewan. "Alternatively I would like to rent a small farm of about 50 acres."

He will be leaving the planes behind this weekend to attend the Shire Horse Show at Peterborough (Mar 18 &19). There he will be unveiling a new horse drawn product.

This is a two-wheel-hitch cart that easily converts to a four-wheel-vehicle.

You will find it near the demonstration ring.
