High lift 416S JCB now here
JCBs recently introduced 416S wheeled loader is now available as a high lift version; the company has fitted the machine with its four-ram loader arm geometry system.
Developed to meet the demand of users who need extra lift height to load high-sided diet feeders, the 416S Super High Lift has a lift of 4.46m (14ft 8in) with a dump clearance of 3.47m (11ft 5in) and a 2.44m (8ft) forward reach at dump height.
JCB says that to achieve such height, competitor machinery usually has to specify a high-tip or toe-tip bucket – which is extra expense and extra weight on the wrong end of the machine.
But some users may argue that the price premium of £2500 for the high lift version could be more than the cost of a high-tip bucket. *
