Holistic vets run Yorkshire conference

ONE sign of the boom in organic farming is the inaugural conference of the British Holistic Veterinary Medicine Association at Shipley, Yorkshire, this weekend.

The specialists in complementary veterinary treatments have already signed up 60 members.

They hope to expand their numbers up to 10% of Britains 14,000 veterinary surgeons.

The practice includes various forms of treatment such as acupuncture, homeopathy, herbal treatment and osteopathy.
