Hopes of mad cow cure

AN ANTIBODY which could lead to a vaccine for BSE and its human equivalent variant CJD has been discovered by scientists.
In tests, the molecule can neutralise the infective agents which cause the disease, and clear it from cells, reports The Times.
The Oxford University and the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California team told the journal Nature this could help treat and prevent the diseases.
