Hotline number
A MISTAKE by the Countryside Alliance resulted in the wrong phone number being published for people who want to attend its Liberty and Livelihood march on Sept 22.
Last weeks issue of farmers weekly contained details of the hotline for the event, which organisers have asked marchers to call so they know how many people are likely to attend.
But the Countryside Alliance provided the wrong phone number. The correct number, which will be open seven days a week from 8am to 8pm, is 0900-102 0900. Calls cost 60p/minute.
Each person who registers will receive a badge, an information pack and a car sticker for the march.
But people who want to save money can register at Countryside Alliance stands at various rural events during the summer or online at www.march-info.org *
