How to enter your stock

ENTRIES are open to all producers. Classes will be divided by weight, at the chief stewards discretion.

Cattle classes will be split into those for British and Continental breeds, either as heifers or steers, and there will be special prizes, offered by the breed societies, for the best Belgian Blue, Blonde dAquitaine, Longhorn and South Devon Breeds.

No dressing

Sheep will be shown with no dressing or haltering and will be divided into British native and Continental classes. There will be similar special breed society prizes for Beltex, British Texel, and Suffolk breeds and crosses.

Pig classes (not at the Lichfield Fair day, judged dead only) will be divided into pork and bacon classes, in each of two weight ranges.

Entries close for: Beef cattle, sheep and carcass pigs on Fri, Oct 1, and for suckled calves on Mon Oct 25. Entry fees must accompany entry forms.
