Huge success for Farmers Weekly Podcast
The Farmers Weekly Podcast has been confirmed as one of the most popular in the UK, being ranked in the top 5% of all the podcasts hosted by the Buzzsprout platform.
In total, it was downloaded almost 300,000 times during 2022, with each episode entertaining more than 5,000 listeners.

The podcast’s reach also extends overseas, with more than 13,000 downloads in Ireland, the US, Australia and New Zealand.
Popular episodes during the year included podcasts examining why government policy needs to work better for farmers, food security, input cost inflation, net-zero targets and the impact of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on UK agriculture.
Discussions around Jeremy Clarkson, extreme weather, farm safety and mental health issues in farming also attracted strong audiences.
