NATIONAL reserve applications for 1998 sheep quota start next week (May 6) and run until Jun 6, 1997. Forms are available from MAFF regional service centres and allocations will be made before the start of the leasing period in September. Priority will be given to producers short of quota due to their involvement in environmental schemes in 1991.
