AN ELISA test for the diagnosis of sarcoptic manage in pigs is now available, according to a report in the Veterinary Record, July 5, 1997.

Authors Drs Set Bornstein and Per Wallgren suggest the test could prove a valuable tool in controlling the disease, but that it should not be used in animals under 10 weeks old.
