VEAL producers are reminded by MAFF that they must submit claims by Sept 15 to qualify for the estimated £36 a calf compensation announced by government last month. The compensation is available to producers who sold veal calves for slaughter for human consumption during the period Mar 20 to Nov 9, 1996.
