NEWMAN Agrochemicals is promoting its crop nutrition spray Yealf for use on oilseed rape, claiming gross margin improvements worth £52/ha as a result of increased early crop growth. In independent trials over the past two years by the SAC, NEAC and NDSM, Yeald gave an average yield increase of 0.4t/ha – across a range of winter rapes, including the hybrid Synergy, it says.
