• SHEEP producers should examine lambs mouths now and sell all those where the first permanent incisor has broken the skin before Jan 1, 1998, warns the MLC.
Under new UK regulations (see livestock, Dec 19, 1997) lambs with erupted incisors sold after this date may be worth less because of the added costs of processing them.
