India set to resume cotton futures trading
FUTURES trading in cotton will resume in India after a break of more than 30 years.
The Bombay-based East India Cotton Association, which is sponsoring cotton futures trading, has the infrastructure in place and the mock trading has been a success.
India is the worlds largest producer of cotton after China and the USA.
