Interest rates cut again

INTEREST rates are down again, for the fourth time in four months.

The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of England today voted to reduce rates by 0.5%, to give a base rate of 5.5%.

This still leaves rates 2.5 percentage points above the Eurozone rate of 3%.
