IRELAND should promote its milk and products using branding to highlight its good, clean, green image.
Teagascs Bernie OBrien said that Irish milk is a natural product from grass-based systems, with 80% coming from grazed grass. It also has proven health benefits: Milk can lower cholesterol, is high in calcium and high in CLA – an anti-cancer agent, she added. *
