Juror son latest sire in DDportfolio

ALFRAG Juror Kendall is the latest sire to join Dairy Daughters portfolio.

He combines high type merit with improved production, particularly butterfat, a trait which is enjoying renewed demand, says the company.

He is a Juror son and out of a Tesk dam and is said to have a high UK type merit of +2.75 (see daughter pictured) and a superb linear trait profile. He offers 451kg of milk, has a PIN of £29, a PLI of £35 and is rated +0.3% on butterfat.

With butterfat now in demand from about 20 factories or supply groups, who are paying 2p/1% fat over base, it is no surprise that producers are beginning to select for it again, according to Dairy Daughters.

Kendall straws cost £9.50 each (0800-614904, fax 01285-644597).
