Kids – win a trampoline in our art competition

Kids – do you enjoy drawing, painting and colouring? Got a little bit of spare time? This is a perfect opportunity to showcase your artistic talents by entering our latest art competition.

Anyone can take part as long as they’re between four and 15 years old. Remember, there are three super trampolines on offer as prizes, worth a total of nearly £1000.

The theme for the competition is “My favourite farm scene”. How you choose to draw this is up to you.

It might be a busy farm yard, your house, a tractor working in a field, a pony paddock, or livestock grazing. It might be a real place or it could even be somewhere drawn entirely from your imagination. All we need are bright, colourful pictures.

There are three age categories: 4-7, 8-11 and 12-15. The judges will be looking for talent and enthusiasm in each category.

We’ll publish a selection of the best pictures in Farmers Weekly (and an even bigger selection in a gallery on our website) so you might get the chance to see your work in your favourite farming read. Just imagine how great that would be, showing that to your family and friends (and mums and dads, just imagine how proud that would make you, too – certainly one for the scrapbook!)

If previous art competitions are anything to go by, a generation of artistic children are growing up on farms. So show us what you can do. The judging team here at Farmlife can’t wait to see your artistic creations.

The closing date is Monday, 7 April, 2008. The three winners will be notified by Thursday, 10 April. Unfortunately, we can’t return your pictures.
