Lanark farmers go to school

LANARKSHIRES 1200 farmers are bidding to spread the word on their produce with a sales campaign pitched directly at the regions 55 secondary schools.

Fir Park, the home of Motherwell Football Club, was the venue for the “Lanark Larder” venture, which was started more than two years ago.

It seeks to advise the schoolchildren of the region on the long-term benefits of eating naturally produced Scottish foods.
