NEW winter linseed variety, Nordica, has been launched by plant breeder Fontaine Cany of France, and will be available through Dalgety Agriculture and Robin Appel. The variety is early maturing and has yielded well in trials in the UK and France, says Dalgety. It has a unique winter growth habit which could help winter survival, it adds.
