Liquid supplement for a good start

PROVITA has launched a colostrum supplement in time for next years lambing season.

Provita Response is designed to provide newborn lambs with a liquid feed that aims to supplement ewe colostrum.

The supplement ensures lambs get a better start by providing a supply of probiotic bacteria, active proteins and vitamins, says the company. Response is said to be particularly useful for multiple or weak lambs.

Available in 100ml bottles, with an automatic 1.1ml dosing syringe, it costs 19.7p/lamb (07710-800649, fax 028-8224 1734).
