Lleyn draws 3850gns call

AT THE Lleyn breed societys Gaerwen show and sale a new record price of 3850gns was paid for a shearling ram.

It came from the Stragglethorpe flock of Mid-Glamorgan breeders T Anthony and Sons and went to N A and P M Baseley, Notts.

AVERAGES: Well up in all sections. Ewes sold to £180 (pens of eight and above) and ewe lambs reached £167 (pens of five or more). Shearling ewes averaged £116 and ewe lambs £87. (Morgan Evans and Co)n
