London Sumatra Indonesia warns of drought, tax

ONE of the largest palm oil and rubber plantations, London Sumatra Indonesia, said foreign exchange losses of Rp75.7 billion ($9.4m) lowered last years net profits by 5%.

The group has also warned that high taxes and drought could hit this years results. Net profits declined Rp76.7bn down from Rp80.6bn. Operating profits increased 24% to Rp126bn.
