MAFF spearheads campaign to capture mink
THE Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAFF) is spearheading the campaign to combat the thousands of mink released into the countryside in Hampshire by animal activists.
It has sent a team of 20 trappers to the area, which covers a 10-mile radius around Ringwood.
The Times reports that the release has sent demand soaring in the affected area for guns and ammunition.
