Milk replacer can foil deterioration

LONG-LIFE milk replacer packed in small foil sachets will last two years from date of manufacture, says Premier Milk Replacers.

This instant, skim-based lambs milk will last in the unopened 2.5kg foil sachets from one season to a second season eliminating the shelf-life problems of farmers keeping a stock of milk powder, it says. Larger 10kg and 25kg bags of the product are also available with a one-year shelf life, adds Premier Milk Replacers.
