Mobile computers help hill farmers

COMPUTERS are coming to the aid of Britains 60,000 hard-pressed hill farmers, according to a story in The Guardian

The Hill Farming Initiative has joined forces with the Workers Education Association to develop a Farm Bureau System specifically for hill farmers.

The system will involve a van equipped with 12 laptop computers touring Scotland, England and Wales teaching farmers financial and business management.
