ADDITIVES will be used on 60% of maize silages this year, according to a recent Ecosyl Products survey.

Findings show that some growers plan to return to additive use after increased aerobic losses in untreated crops last year. Most additive users surveyed chose a bacterial inoculant, claims Ecosyl.n
