‘Move to oust Queen from RSPCA’

By FWi staff

MEMBERS of the RSPCA ruling council are seeking to oust the Queen as patron because she supports foxhunting, reports The Times.

Leading opponent Angela Walder said it was “obscene” that the Queen should be allowed to be patron to the animal welfare charity.

At an RSPCA council meeting last week, it was agreed to cancel the membership of triple Olympic gold medal showjumper Richard Meade, who also supports hunting.
