New case of swine fever confirmed

A PIG farm in Norfolk has become the 12th to be confirmed with swine fever, the ministry of agriculture has reported.

The farm is located near to one of original five units that tested positive for swine over a month ago.

There are a number of other farms in Norfolk and Suffolk that MAFF vets say are highly suspected of having the disease, but are still awaiting test results.
