New design for presses
WORKING widths up to 6m (20ft) are available on the latest Samurai front press range from Lynx Engineering.
A revised headstock design now includes a castor steering system and damper to make the press roll easier to manoeuvre when in work, says Lynx.
A change in ring profiles – now 30í and 45í profiles – means rings can be selected to provide better clod cracking (30í), or for improved surface packing in medium to light soils (45 í).
Hydraulic folding wing sections reduce the transport width to 2.5m (8.2ft), with prices extending to £6400 for the 6m (20ft) version. *
Latest Samurai front-mounted presses from Lynx Engineering use a revised headstock and reprofiled rings.
