New inoculant
LATEST soil inoculant to be launched in the UK is E-2001 from Agricultural Research Technologies of Liss, Hants, which claims an application of the bacteria/enzyme mix can fix atmospheric nitrogen and supply at least 172kgN/ha (138 units N/acre). Cost of the non-toxic product is said to be half that of an equivalent application of artificial nitrogen fertiliser. *
