New topic – the price of sprays
WHY are sprays so expensive? I know the old argument that research and developement costs are the reason, but I do not believe that.
In January, I was in Chile and while there I picked up a local newspaper that had a list of fungicides and pesticides with prices, They were far cheaper than in this country.
Most of the chemicals we use are made in mainland Europe and imported into the UK. Therefore they should be far cheaper, with the value of the Pound where it is.
The manufacturers are making a killing.
