NFU offers planning seminars

By FWi staff

ADVICE on topics such as diversification and funding are on offer in a series of seminars organised by National Farmers Union Services.

The four half-day seminars are aimed at planners, land agents, agricultural advisers and anyone interested in current rural planning practice.

“It is a complex and often confusing maze,” said NFU Services Product Manager Tina Murphy.

“These seminars aim to provide up-to-date information on how to steer safely through the system to get the desired outcome.”

Policy updates in the planning sphere, the latest developments in diversification and grant funding will come under scrutiny.

The relevance of Agricultural Occupancy Conditions in a new farming era will also be discussed.

The sessions include workshops and case studies and start at the NFU North West Regional Office in Skelmersdale on Wednesday, 13 February.

Other venues are Devon Hotel, Exeter (21 February), Westwood County Hotel, Oxford (7 March) and Bank House Hotel, Worcester (14 March).

Prices start at 125 and tickets can be booked through the NFU Helpline on 0870 840 0638.
