No sweat with easy-fitting cattle grid

TAKE the sweat out of installing cattle grids with an easy-to-fit version which allows stock to walk over it when required, says manufacturer KJ Engineering.

Fitting the grid simply means digging the correct sized hole and dropping it in, according to the company. The grid comes with a hinged mesh floor which can be lowered, allowing stock and people to cross safely, it says.

It is available in two sizes, a 50t capacity version costs £950 and a 20t version is £850 (01559- 3845654, fax 01559-384914).
