OBE to Bob Bansback

RESPECTED economist Bob Bansback, a director of the Meat and Livestock Commission since 1982, has received an OBE in the Queen‘s Birthday Honours List.

The Reverend Canon Sally Fogden, the vicar who as agricultural chaplain helped farmers whose livelihoods were damaged by swine fever and foot and mouth disease, has been awarded an MBE.

Bill Madders, council member of the National Farmers Union, has also been awarded an MBE, for his services to dairy farming.
