‘Organic’ baby food? Not always

TWO out of three brands of organic baby food contain non-organic ingredients, new research claims.

The survey by baby foods company Baby Organix analysed 250 brands and said some rivals – such as Hipp Babyfoods – used non-organic ingredients in 34 of 45 organic varieties, reports the Daily Express.

Hipp Babyfoods told the newspaper that it was sometimes impossible to stock products which are 100% organic when supplies are not available or quality is not suitable.
