Peeling premium onions – and no tears

INCREASING demands from processors to provide premium quality peeled produce, M&P Engineering has now developed a new range of stainless steel onion peelers.

Designed to meet high food hygiene requirements, the new ranges dry peeling process has units capable of handling products from 11cm diameter down to 1.8cm while a smaller machine is said to be suitable for peeling pickling onions or shallots.

Outputs of up to 6600 ware onions an hour with low product wastage are claimed.
