Pesticide link to breast cancer

PESTICIDES used by farmers to grow fruit and vegetables may significantly increase the risk of breast cancer, Danish research has shown.

The research appears to show that organochlorine chemicals influence the production of oestrogen, the reproductive hormone.

The research was published in the medical journal, The Lancet.
