Phone poll puts Cameron as favourite for Scottish NFU presidency
A PHONE poll conducted by the Scottish Farmer magazine puts John Cameron as the peoples choice for president of the National Farmers Union of Scotland.
He took more than half the total votes registered in the phone poll.
Meanwhile, the question of how much money former chief executive Tom Brady received under his termination of employment agreement remains unanswered. Accounts for 1997 state more than £100,000 and less than £170,000.
The accounts also show that wages and salaries for union staff increased by
£82,966 and pension scheme provisions by £93,456, a total increase of
£176,422.
