Photos: Brussels protest turns violent

Price crisis protests in Brussels have turned violent with farmers involved in clashes with heavily clad riot police.
Palls of black smoke hung over the Belgian capital as protesters set alight straw and hay dumped from forage wagons and straw choppers.
The protesters also used high pressure hoses to spray milk and threw missiles at police as they tried to breach barbed wire barricades protecting the main offices in the centre of the city.
But the police fought back using armoured vehicles and powerful water cannon.
More than 5,000 farmers using 2,000 tractors took part in the protest in a bid to highlight despair at plummeting food prices across Europe.
