Picture story: Farming in the snow

It takes more than a bit of snow to stop the business of farming – as these pictures sent in by reader Iain Jarrett show.

He took them while potato planting for K & D Henderson at Newtown of Boysack Farm, bear Arbroath on Sunday, 6 April.

“What looked like a half decent morning turned out to be rather cold and wintery, but by the afternoon the sun was shining agin,” he said.
