Ploughing record

THE world 24-hour ploughing record has been broken. On Feb 25/26 Feb, at a farm in south-west France, a Case 425hp Quadtrac coupled to a 17-furrow Gregoire Besson plough turned over 209.42ha (517 acres). Driven non-stop by Cases Jean Imbert, all refuelling operations were carried out on the move to maintain the 21.5 acre/hour output. &#42
