Professor questions organic food safety
THE “safety” of organic food compared with conventionally produced food cannot be taken for granted, according to a professor of cell and molecular biology in The Independent.
Anthony Trewasas, of the University of Edinburgh, argues that modern farming has eliminated many of the fungal pests and has made food safer to eat.
