Protesters target fishmonger

MASKED animal rights protesters damaged a fishmongers shop, claiming the owner was cruel to lobsters and rabbits.

But the Stephen Jenkins, 36, who runs the shop in Deal High Street, Kent, defended killing the rabbits because he said they were a pest to farmers and had to be controlled.

He lost stock worth £500 in the attack and £500 in takings and repairs.
