Richard Hammond’s sheep herding video goes viral

Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond has taken to YouTube to post videos about sheep herding.

The 45-year-old presenter has posted two videos of himself whiling away the hours in the countryside.

The first video, which is entitled “Bored”, begins with the presenter lying on the top of a wall on his farm in Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, shouting “bored” and “I need a job”.

The 10-minute clip then shows footage of Hammond drinking beer, taking long walks in the countryside and out with his dog herding sheep.

It features a hilarious Top Gear-like ending, when he looks in the back of his Land Rover and realises he has left his sheepdog behind.

The video has attracted more than 600,000 views on YouTube.

Hammond later posted a second, shorter video of the same outing, entitled “Bored 2”.

He then tweeted: “Have made cut-down version of Bored. Called it Bored 2 and put it on YouTube on ‘Richard Hammond is bored’. Not so bored now.”

Earlier, his co-presenter James May posted videos on YouTube improving his culinary skills.

The pair have been out of work since fellow Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson was sacked from the BBC2 motoring show last month for punching a producer.

But seriously Mr Hammond, how can anyone ever get bored herding sheep?
